Parking – Where To Park
The Fleet Street Hotel Temple Bar is located within walking distance of all major landmarks and is in the heart of the main shopping districts. The hotel is located in between Grafton St and O’Connell St, Dublin’s two main high streets so, if you are looking for hotel beside Trinity College or a hotel near Temple Bar, then we are it! We are located around the corner from Westmoreland St which has a stop for the Air coach which goes to and from Dublin International Airport and is also the main bus stop for many of the cities bus routes. We are a mere 2 minutes’ walk from Tara St. DART station which is an over ground train system for the Dublin region and in addition it is a short 5-minute walk to Connolly Station and Heuston Station which are the main train stations in Dublin with connections across Ireland. The Luas is a light rail system connecting the Dublin region and the nearest stop is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Lower Abbey St. You can read more about how to locate us further below.
We do not have our own car park, however The Fleet Street Car Park, located opposite the hotel has a special reduced rate for our guests of €19 for 24 hours or €3 per hour.

Approach from the N1 onto Dorset Street. Make a left turn onto Gardiner Street and continue to the Sean MacDermott Street intersection. Turn right onto Sean MacDermott Street. Take a left turn at the O’Connell Street Intersection. Continue the length of O’Connell Street, cross O’Connell Bridge, leading onto D’Olier Street and make a right turn at the street’s end looping back onto Westmoreland Street. Take a left turn onto Fleet Street. We are located on the right hand side next door to the Palace Bar, above TGI Friday’s.
Approach on N11 onto Leeson Street. Circle St. Stephens Green and turn right onto Dawson Street, turn right onto Nassau Street. Keep Trinity College on your left and bear left at Lincoln Place, turn left onto Westland Row. At the end of Westland Row turn left onto Pearse Street. Turn right onto Tara Street. Turn left onto Essex Quay. At O’Connell Bridge turn left onto D’Olier Street and make a right turn at the street’s end looping back onto Westmoreland Street. Take a left turn onto Fleet Street and we are loacted on the right hand side next door to the Palace Bar.
Approach Dublin on the N4 onto St Johns Road West. Make a left turn after Heuston Station and cross the River Liffey. Continue the length of the Quays until you reach O’Connell Street at which point make a right turn. Cross O’Connell Bridge and continue along D’Olier Street and make a right turn at the street’s end looping back onto Westmoreland Street. Take a left turn onto Fleet Street and we are located on the right-hand side next door to the Palace Bar.
The blue Aircoach OR Airbus 747, both travel directly by road from Dublin International Airport to O’Connell Street. Journey times vary between 25-45 minutes – avoid rush hour traffic (i.e. 7.30 – 9.30am; 1700 – 1830). Prices are approximately €7 one-way, €12 return. Taxi fare from the airport should cost approximately €25-30, depending on traffic and the number of people travelling.
Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. It will cost €25.00 approx from Dublin Airport to Temple Bar.
